This Byzantine decorated domes with a filigree scheme of rosettes and flanked by 21 silver fronds, inspired by the jewellery from the Thrace region of Greece in the 18th century.  It is said the rosette first originated in in Minoan Crete and Ancient Egypt and proliferated in the Ancient Greek city of Kyme (Asia Minor), circa 330BC.  The rosette has always symbolised beauty, war and justice and appears centuries in Romanesque and renaissance  architecture.
