Stunning angular 24k gold earrings featuring 2 yellow citrine stones. The intricate filigree 19th century design is an interpretation of the 'Yiordani'. This is an adornment attached to the collar of bridal gowns from the Mesogeia region in Attica. The original was made up of twelve to nineteen embellishments including scalloping, rosettes, multi-coloured glass stones and coins. Bridal jewellery pieces belonged to the church and hardly any of them were family-owned.
